Condition
The unlined canvas in overall good condition, with slight abrasions along the outer edges of the canvas, since the work is unframed. Minor losses extend past the outer periphery at upper center, in the blue sky. With slight craquelures ridges visible in the sky, yet visible. No visible restoration as seen under UV light, although we notice some fluorescence in the sky at upper left, above the red building (likely a mix of old varnish and pigments used by the artist, as it perfectly follows the paintbrush). The work would likely benefit from a light cleaning. Additional images available upon request.
